As a magnet World History teacher, my goal is to create an engaging curriculum that meets the needs and interests of my students while complying with AISD and Texas state requirements. I strive to foster a respectful and orderly classroom environment where every student feels valued. Expectations include punctuality, preparedness, and adherence to the Student Code of Conduct. Consequences for infractions are structured to encourage improvement, starting with private discussions and escalating to parent involvement and detentions if necessary.

Ms. Boothe’s Discipline Management Plan 2006 - 2007
As a magnet World History teacher, my goals are to: • Provide you with an interesting curriculum which meets your needs, interests, and the requirements of AISD and the state of Texas • Create a classroom environment where you can become actively engaged in the learning process • Treat all of you with dignity and respect and to have you treat myself and others accordingly
To achieve my goals, you are expected to: • Arrive on time everyday fully prepared to begin class (be in your assigned seat at the tardy bell and bring WH notebook everyday). • Conform to the rules outlined in the LBJ student handbook and AISD Student Code of Conduct • Display a respectful attitude towards both myself and your fellow students at ALL times—including raising your hand before speaking.
Consequences – should you fail to conform to my expectations: • For a minor infraction, I will hold a brief and private discussion with you to warn you about the behavior and to remind you of my expectations • For a 2nd or more serious infraction, I will communicate with your parent/guardian and ask for their assistance in correcting your behavior
Consequences, con’t • For a third minor infraction, you will be assigned to a 15 minute before/after school detention in my classroom the following day (or when my schedule allows) • For a 4th or serious infraction, you will be referred to the LASA administrator
