Exploring Blended Consonants: ESL Class #8 - April 27, 2012

In ESL Class #8 on April 27, 2012, we built upon our understanding of consonant sounds by focusing on blended beginning consonants. After reviewing the ‘ch’, ‘w’, and ‘ng’ sounds learned last week, we delved into examples like "black" to understand how sounds blend at the start of words. Students were assigned homework to complete the blended consonant sheet and practice short vowels. Additionally, we revisited previous worksheets on consonant sounds and explored blended end consonants like ‘ch’, ‘sh’, and ‘th’.
