What are impersonal expressions? • Es bueno que…It’s good that… • Es importante que…It’s important that… • Es lógico que…It’s logical that… • Es malo que…It’s bad that… • Es mejor que…It’s better that… • Es posible que…It’s possible that… • Es probable que…It’s probable that… • Es raro que…It’s rare that… • Es triste que…It’s sad that… • Es ridículo que…It’s ridiculous that…

  4. The formation • The same way you form Ud. commands For example: Step 1: Go to the yo form Step 2: Drop the o Step 3: Add endings (opposite vowels)

  5. The present subjunctive of regular verbs -AR -ER-IR hablar comer escribir Yo hable coma escriba Tú hables comas escribas Ella hable coma escriba Nosotros hablemos comamos escribamos Vosotros habléis comáis escribáis Ellos hablen coman escriban

  6. *Note • Remember that with Ud. commands you have to change the spelling for some verbs to keep the pronunciation the same Ejemplos: Llegar = llegue Buscar = busque Cruzar = cruce
