The acoustic • The guitar consists of several major parts you should be familiar with • The head and tuning keys • For tuning and finding your sound • The neck and frets • The spaces where you put your fingers to play a chord • The body and sound hole • The shape alters the projection of the guitars sound • And the saddle and bridge • Support the strings’ vibrations to transfer the sound to the surrounding air

  4. strumming • If you want to use a pick, you can choose from light, medium, or heavy; only differentiating by thickness • You should strum from the elbow keeping, keeping the pick perpendicular to the strings, and strumming with a wide ark

  5. Putting it all together! • In the end, all you have to do it put your fingers on the proper frets to make each chord • Choose a combination of chords to play to create a song • Remember the proper strumming patterns • Enjoy your beautiful sound!
