Video Game Addiction! Video game addiction, also known as video game overuse, is extreme use of computer and video games that interferes with daily life. Super Mario Brothers, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Street Fighter are familiar names to nearly all of us. They are all best selling games of major video game consoles. Over 9.8 billion dollars were spent on video games in the United States during 2001 alone, and video game consoles are present in 36 million homes in the United States. With the increasing amount of time that people are spending on video games, one is left to wonder if it is possible to become addicted to video games.
FRUSTRATION!! • Video Game Frustration? • I'm not going to lie, I can get very angry indeed when it comes to online video games such as Gears of War 2 and CoD:MW2. Campers especially I cannot stand it and I feel like pulling my hair out. I end up just blindly cursing on a bad day which I know isn't healthy or appropriate. My pillow has had the crap beaten out of it on more then one occasion! (A saying from my friend) Sit back and ask yourself exactly why you are annoyed? It's the competitor in you, mixed in with a touch of immaturity, for example you get mad at campers because they're not playing the game the way you want them to and they're killing you as a result of their strategy. Whether you think it's fair or not is irrelevant if it's allowed in the game. (Me)
SEXISM!! • I happen to be a female gamer. Aside from the fact that I find sexism in video games insulting, demeaning and unethical, I also find it stupid and immature. • I obviously don't have a problem with blood and guts in video games, since I enjoy survival horror games. In these games, though, one is blowing the heads of fictional beings, such as zombies and not fellow human beings (well, not usually). • I do have a problem with sexism in video games. • Perhaps the most objectionable form of sexism is the incredibly overt sexism present in some games, such as in the game that allows players to rape a woman. In the industry and in videogames themselves, women are portrayed as sexual objects ESPECIALLY in Grand Theft Auto!!!
The positive part of video games It is not true, that videogames encourage anti-social elements and violence. Rather they affect the players positively. Sometimes. • Video games have always been infamous for their anti-social aspect and the violence that is shown in them. They have been seen as negatively affecting the players in terms of lack of social skills, inefficiency, obesity and laziness. We lack the unbiased view thus miss on the positive effects of video games. The negativities brought in by video games are due to the unrestricted duration for which they are played. Video games are popular among the children and the youngsters of America. If there is no limit to the time for which a child is allowed to play a video game or no supervision on the way in which the game is being played, the not-so-positive effects of video games will start showing up. Friendship in videogames Many people in the videogame world can choose to chat with their friends, with headsets or they can make friends in online gaming such as modern warfare. The problem with this is that you can also make madness between you and some other gamer. Also if you add a person you don’t know they might be a pedo that is trying to get you in their pale white van full of toys, puppies, watches…, VIDEOGAMES, and candy.

It provides a number of benefits and advantages for users, but sexual predators and scam artists have also discovered Social networks. On Facebook many People post about videogames on Like Pages then people they don’t know may comment and ya’ll know where I’m going with this blah, blah, blah, Predator, blah, blah, blah, Modern Warfare,… ext Most Modern Warfare people have X-box live and they can chat with people and yeah the point is Predators look for girls on social networks (sometime guys) and dudes on Videogames… Rawr.
Fun for Kids video games Mario, Sonic, and so on are fun games for kids unless your playing mario cart wii and get a heart attack from looking at this HOT! Picture Or not wearing your wristrap and hit someone in the face with a wii remote or, maybe you get frustrated and chuck the wii remote at the ground with a rubber case it bounces up and hits you in the eye (this happened to me before) other than that it’s appropiate and there wont be random old guys stalking you the worst it can get is bike dancing which I do all the time and it’s incredibly fun
