Outdoor Advertising • Billboards • Events such as AAU’s upcoming sports games, highlighting new Nike gear • Feature information at The Egg and urge students to check out the unique merchandise • Use Academy of Art Shuttles as an advertising medium: have advertising students or new media students come up with banners that can be displayed temporarily on transportation attracting not students, tourists, etc…

Public Service Advertising • Saint Vincent de Paul’s annual Discarded Divine Fashion Show, where donated clothing may be recycled to runway couture • Dress for Success: Assist someone looking for a new employment break in building their self image by donating professional clothing articles or a monetary contribution (www.dressforsuccess.org) • Fashion Group Foundation of San Francisco (www.fgisf.org/page/donations-1) • Princess Project: help a high school girl go to prom • Art for Healing (artforhealing.org) Advertising for Social Causes: One way to gain recognition is to reveal that your business is genuinely interested in the betterment of society.

  5. Donation Concepts • Donate your own clothing and shop for a discount of 10% off merchandise • Buy any products and store will donate 5% of the proceeds to an organization of your choice • Donate money to Atelier and receive an in store gift created by an AAU student or graduate

  6. Social & Covert Advertising • The film sector of the store could definitely be strengthened. Therefore, AAU student film promotion can incorporate ads for Atelier in their short films and have a chance to be featured at an in store movie screening • Broadcast advertising: Television, Radio and the Internet • Facebook, Twitter, Blogspots, Yelp, etc…

Celebrity Advertising & In Store Promotion • Industry Professionals • Word of Mouth • Artist Meet & Greet:Artists featured in Atelier can explain their work over some hour'derves • Gladys Perint Palmer: Feature work, host meet & greet • In store sales associates wear jewelry/clothing to attract customers

  8. Atelier Fashion Show • Every month, Atelier can feature in store garments, including Nike wear, etc… • The gathering would bring a variety of onlookers and would promote the clothing sector of the store • Great aid in word of mouth promotion
