This digital photo project chronicles the process of transforming images through meticulous editing techniques. Beginning with black-and-white images, I applied masks, desaturated colors, and selectively reintroduced hues to create a vibrant narrative. I sourced and incorporated multiple images, such as a toy box and tablecloth, using the magnetic lasso tool for precision. The editing process was both tedious and frustrating, requiring careful layering. The final outcome combined festive elements, resulting in a unique composition that reflects my creative journey.

BlackandWhite Before Before I added a mask, then I de-saturated the color and used the paintbrush to add the color back.

ThreeImagesAdded • To add the three images by finding pictures on Google. I saved each image (toy box, floor mat and tablecloth) to my files. I then opened a new PSD files. I used the magnetic lasso tool to cut and drag each object into the new picture. • The process was tedious and time consuming. I experienced a high level of frustration during this editing process. I used multiple layers to create the new picture.
With this free image, I started with a Christmas background from Google. I then transferred myself from a New Year’s Eve Party into the Christmas background. I added layers and de-saturated the colors and add color splashes back into the picture. I even added a gift box behind me. This task was difficult as well as frustrating throughout the entire process. I used multiple layers to create the different effects in this picture. I attempted to make myself smaller in the second picture (did it work)?
