Strategies Implemented • Case Management (1:1 meetings) • Over 150 students - documented 1:1 contacts (including 40 fourth year students – impacting over 12% of the graduating class of 2007 = approx. 8% of the graduation rate ) • Drop-Out Prevention / Recovery Plan • Met with 41 students – issues related to retention • Total of 68 drop-outs for 06-07 school year (down from 93 last year) • Exit Interviews & Student Recovery efforts • Home Visits

Strategies Implemented • GHSGT Remediation • Promoted USATestPrep – Jumped from 183 logins during ‘05-’06 to almost 4,000 logins in ‘06-’07 • Provided Summer Remediation Classes in Media Center • Grad Coach Online = Resources • Provides testprep resources, hyperlink contact info for grad coach, & encourages students, parents, teachers, and community members to get involved • Guardian Terrors - Peer Mentoring Program • Research and design – applications accepted • Summer Training – Full implementation in Fall 07

Strategies Implemented • PLATO/NovaNet Credit Recovery • Assisted 43 students with achieving credit on the Glynn Academy campus • PLC contacts • referral source • Guest Speaker Presentation – December 2006 • Mentored students • RLC - 8.5 and Intervention Program • referral source for Intervention program • Guest Speaker Presentation for 8.5 – June 07 • Student Success Conferences for 8.5 students – July 07

Strategies Implemented • Community Collaboration • Communities in Schools – see brochure • PTSA – attended meetings and invited to Grad Team • Brunswick News – 2 articles (Oct. & January) • Gateway Behavioral Health Services & Focus by the Sea • Job Corps – admissions referrals • Local Restaurants (incentives for students) • Special Programs • Dr. Adolph Brown Seminar – Jan. 07 provided Technical Assistance and Planning • Ga Southern University - Tour for At-Risk Students April 07 • Student Success Conferences – for At-Risk Students

Plans For 2007-2008 • Freshmen Academy Involvement • Coordinator of Guardian Terrors (upper-class peer mentors) • Assist with Focus Groups (anger mgmt, time mgmt, etc) • 1:1 case management as needed – especially with students who transitioned from the 8.5 program • Upper School (Grades 10-12) • Monthly meetings with Guardian Terrors • Main Referral source for PLC/RLC Intervention/Credit Recovery Programs • Focus on Repeat Freshmen (83) • Focus on Under-credit seniors (60) • GHSGT Remediation assistance
