  2. Natural Resources • Nature provide for all needs but not our greeds. • All natural resources are classified in to two groups 1) Renewable 2) Non -Renewable

  3. Natural Resources Renewable Non -Renewable Plants, Animals. Air, Soil Minerals, water.

  4. soil Soil is another important Non renewable Resource. There are two types of soil. 1)Multani clay 2)China clay .The life cycle of living things begin from and end in the soil. Soil is used for various purposes . Identifying the type of soil help in deciding its use Soil is used for building ,houses and making bricks.

  5. Reasons for soil pollution • Over use of chemical fertilizers for growing crops. • Release of polluted water , chemical & slag from factories into the soil. • Over use of insecticides sprayed on soil. • Over use of water.

  6. Measures for protecting soil • Planting tree • Using organic fertilizers • Using organic insecticides • Preventing cutting down of trees.
