RMS Voting Recommendation: • NPRR796, Extended Character Set Clean Up (Vote) • This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) removes Protocol Section 19.5, Texas Standard Electronic Transactions Acceptable Extended Character Set, as this language currently resides in the Texas Standard Electronic Transaction (TX SET) Implementation Guides. • 9/13/16 RMS Meeting: • “Motion to Table NPRR796 was Unanimous to allow further review by the Texas SET Working Group.” RMS Update to COPS

  3. 9/13/16 RMS Voting Conducted: • NPRR772, Clarification of Process for Transmission Outages Related to a Service Disconnection Request for a Generation Resource (Vote) • This Nodal Protocol Revision Request (NPRR) clarifies that the Planned Outage for Transmission Facilities process outlined in ERCOT Protocols Section 3.1, Outage Coordination, will be used for the scenario where an authorized disconnection of services is requested of a Transmission and/or Distribution Service Provider (TDSP) for a Generation Resource.  This does not place any additional requirements on any Market Participant. • 9/13/16 RMS Meeting: • After a lot of discussions and review of the Texas SET Working Group recommended comments, RMS voted to endorse NPRR772 as amended by the 8/4/16 ROS comments. There were six abstentions from the Independent Retail Electric Provider (IREP) (3), Municipal (2), and Investor Owned Utility (IOU) (1) Market Segments. RMS Update to COPS

Working Group/Taskforces Updates • Texas SET: • Test Flight Scripts reviewed with consensus gained to change Test Scripts SOR01 and SOR02 • Welcomed visit from MDWG Leadership and ERCOT where the teams discussed Re-architect and Updates to ERCOT’s External Web Services • Discussed Issue 2016-I143, Special Language Character EDI Validation Process • Options Presented: • Recommends Option 1 for a Short Term Solution • Recommends Option 2 be Implemented for a Long Term Solution • Note: SET requesting the Market review the proposed Options and provide their feedback during their next meeting • TX SET next meeting scheduled on Wednesday, September 21st • Joint effort by TX SET/TDTMS and AMWG to develop Retail Market Continuity Plan-- Next meeting scheduled September 22nd in 206B RMS Update to COPS

Working Group/Taskforces Updates • Texas Data Transport and MarkeTrak Systems (TDTMS) • MarkeTrak Functionality Enhancements • Ongoing discussions for functionality enhancements to be included in the next MarkeTrak release (TBD). • MarkeTrak Upgrade Update • Implementation efforts are underway – ERCOT currently evaluating the best method to incorporate MarkeTrak into the CERT/Sandbox Environment (as part of SCR786). • Inadvertent Gain Reporting Refinements • TDTMS coordinated efforts with ERCOT to redesign the look and feel of the current RMS IAG reports. • SCR786, Retail Market Test Environment • Project is on target for Go-Live date of 12/11/2016 (R6)!!! • Will begin development of ‘User Orientation’ documentation for Sandbox Testing & will determine most appropriate place to store once completed. Working Group/Taskforces Updates • Texas Data Transport and MarkeTrak Systems (TDTMS) • MarkeTrak Subtype Analysis (Final Review) • Performed thorough review of MarkeTrak subtype statistics & root cause analysis to identify areas to increase workflow/process efficiencies. • Items identified to improve efficiency were added to “parking lot” list of MT functionality enhancements. • Special thanks to Tammy Stewart (ERCOT) for pulling MT stats (We appreciate all of her support!) • TDTMS agreed going forward it was prudent to perform an annual review of MT subtype performance. • Utilize Q4 2016 to map out the requirements and steps needed for the annual review. Review to include (but not limited to): specific subtypes to analyze, the desired data points, and timelines for initiation, review, and completion. • Next meeting scheduled on Tuesday, October 11th RMS Update to COPS

ERCOT Updates: • IT Incident Report - August • Service Availability – August • Retail Market IT systems met all SLA targets • MarkeTrak Incidents & Maintenance • 08/14/16 – Planned Maintenance (Site Failover – Retail Processing, MarkeTrak, FindESIID, FindTransaction) • 08/16/16 – MarkeTrak, FindESIID, and FindTransaction issue • From 10:15 AM to 11:40 AM MarkeTrak, FindESIID, and FindTransaction were degraded or unavailable • Retail Transaction processing was not impacted • Root cause was a server memory issue • 08/24/16 – MarkeTrak, Retail MIS (FindESIID, and FindTransaction) issue • From 03:46 PM to 03:55 PM MarkeTrak and Retail MIS (FindESIID, and FindTransaction) were unavailable • Retail Transaction processing was not impacted • Root cause was unplanned maintenance • MarkeTrak Performance was within Target guidelines RMS Update to COPS
