  2. Odd vs. Even • Odd numbers are numbers that cannot be divided evenly. • Examples: 1,3,5,7,9….. • Even numbers are numbers that can be divided evenly. • Examples: 2,4,6,8….

  3. Prime • Prime numbers are numbers that have only 2 factors, one and itself. • Examples: 1,2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23… • Let’s find the Prime numbers up to 100. • WOWWWWWWWWWW

  4. Composite • Composite numbers are the numbers that are not prime. They also have more than 2 factors. • Examples: 4,6,8,10,12,…. • They are mostly all the even numbers and those that end in 5 and 0. The only even number that is not composite is 2. • Let’s find the composite numbers up to 100.

  5. Square • Square numbers are numbers where the factors make a square array. • These are also the numbers where they have a repeated factor. • Example: 36 is a square number. 6x6= 36 6 6
