  2. Triglav is the highest mountain of Slovenia, with it’s 2864m. It is situated in Juliske Aple in Gorenska region. One of the theories from where the name comes from is it’s shape. It has three tops, the middle one is the highest. The other theory is that it got it’s name after a mighty slavic god named Triglav.

  3. We have Triglav also in our crest and on flag. Triglav is one of the most famous signs of Slovenia. Sign of ministry for health.

  4. Jakob Aljaž, Slovene priest, first discover Triglav as sign of Slovenia. He decided to buy the top of the Triglav and build there a small iron tower. And from that time it stayed in ownership of Slovenes.
