Pricing & Procurement issues for Nets LONG LASTING INSECTICIDE TREATED NETS (LLINs) • WHOPES-recommended LLINs are of limited source (currently only 2 suppliers), generally made-to-order, hence the most difficult nets to source • Depending on destination, delivery time for an average order can be as much as 12 months ARO • Normal Prices have been known to fluctuate by as much as much as 20% ………

Therefore • Plan carefully and well in advance for procurement to synchronize arrival of nets with distribution • Ensure funds are on hand...and LLINs are WHOPES recommended • Order directly with themanufacturer or a reliable procurement agent or distributor
