Progress indicators for activity 1.2 - Research strategy • Development of Research Strategy in process • Draft – working version • Feedback on the level of: • Councils of field studies (biomedical, biotechnical, social sciences and humanities, natural sciences, arts) • Rector’s collegium • To be accepted on Senate level • Planned to be completed in February 2008 • Meetings and actions are underway Cosortium meeting Rijeka 24.-25. 01. 2008

  3. Progress indicators for activity 2.1 - Training workshops • October 29th – lecture “Cooperation with USA in the field of scientific projects” held by dr. Mary Ann Rozum (US Department of Agriculture) • October 31st - FP7 workshop for researchers - social sciences and humanities (together with MSES) • December 13th - FP7 workshop for young researchers - natural sciences and biomedicine (together with MSES) • December 17th - FP7 workshop for young researchers - social sciences and humanities (together with MSES) Cosortium meeting Rijeka 24.-25. 01. 2008

  4. Progress indicators for activity 3.1 - Information leaflets • Development and publishing of the Office leaflets (3500 copies) – 2700 copies were distributed to faculties during July Cosortium meeting Rijeka 24.-25. 01. 2008

Detailed work plan for 2008   • Accepting Strategy at Senate level • Putting the Action plan in force • Employment of the new staff: - administrative - accounting • Training of employees • Training workshops for researchers - raising up the level of the awareness of the faculties/ departments • Development of web pages – interactive options Cosortium meeting Rijeka 24.-25. 01. 2008
