Kendell Diggles

This reflection highlights my educational aspirations as a 9th grader at Ozen High School. Lamar University, known for its 100+ degree programs and vibrant campus life with over 130 student organizations, stands out to me. The resource-rich Mary and John Gray Library adds to its appeal. I plan to study Media Arts at Lamar or pursue a Master of Science at LSU, inspired by my siblings' successful experiences. If neither option materializes, I will explore Oklahoma State. My goal is to excel academically and prepare for my future.

Bio of Lamar University • Lamar University offers more than 100 programs of study that lead to bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees.  There are more than 130 student clubs, organizations, honor societies, fraternities and sororities from which to choose.  The eight-story Mary and John Gray library includes resources that exceed 1,000,000 volumes and has electronic access to millions more. • Campus tours begin at 10 a.m. and 2.pm. Monday through Thursday and at 10 a.m. on Friday.

  5. Why I chose these schools • I chose those schools because they are well organized and they are the type of schools that know what they are doing, the classes are good and the teachers have positive attitudes on helping you out the best way they can.

  6. Would I consider going to these schools • I would consider going to both because ever since my brother and sister graduated from both of the schools I considered going to at least one of them so I need to handle my business at high school for that to happen.

  7. What I would study • If I go to Lamar University I’ll study media arts. • If I go to LSU I will study the master of science.

  8. My plans if I choose neither schools • If I choose neither of the schools I will consider Oklahoma state
