  3. Pratiquez! • Ex: Tim et Pat/patient = Tim et Pat sont patients • Alexa/intelligent • Karen et Joe/aimable • Matt/intéressant • Andrée et Brianna/content • Luc, Drew, et Shane/spontané

  4. Position • Most adjectives come after the noun they describe. (Different from English) • Ex: C’est une voiture bleue. • Ex: J’ai des soeurs aimables.

  5. RULE • Adjectives agree in gender and in number with the nouns they describe. • Sometimes you must change the spelling of an adjective so it fits in the sentence.

  6. Exceptions: Adjectives that come BEFORE the noun • Beauty (beau, jolie) • Age (jeune, vieux, nouveau) • Goodness (bon, mauvais) • Size (grand, petit) • Ex: C’est un beau sac! • Ma copine habite dans la vieille maison.
