An Analogy of a Car versus the Posture Analysis of a Human Body

The wear and tear of a car is similar to the wear and tear of a human body. Both the object and the human body have to be serviced to function properly. For more3 information visit: http://www.ten-point.co.uk/running/helen-hall/

  1. An Analogy of a Car versus the Posture Analysis of a Human Body We all know the essence of getting our vehicles serviced on time so they can ran smoothly. The same is true with the human body. There is an effective car analogy we could uses when talking about posture analysis: alignment of the front end and the balance of the wheel. When the alignment of the vehicle is off, it is seen as an uneven tread wear and loss of tire life.

  2. An Analogy of a Car versus the Posture Analysis of a Human Body Similarly when a person’s posture is not proper or off, the body goes through a series of problems like limited range of movement, pain, and dysfunction of the organ, the tendon, ligament, the muscle stress and much more. The body is a tire, which needs a proper position; it has to be balanced to last for a long time without any complications. For a mechanic to evaluate and adjust the front end of the vehicle, they need to check the position of the wheel for deviations from the norm. In simple terms, this is equal to taking a posture analysis.

  3. An Analogy of a Car versus the Posture Analysis of a Human Body A mechanic’s results are reported in terms one can relate to the body. For instance, what a mechanic calls “toe in or toe out” is what an individual would call “internal or external rotation”. When a person tells a mechanic that the thread of the tire is worn out and the steering wheel is vibrating, he or she simply gave them a subjective complaint. The mechanic is used to hearing such complaints and knows what has to be done. Before they begin conducting their analysis, they will need to use the right tools to come up with a repair plan according to the specifications of the car model.

  4. An Analogy of a Car versus the Posture Analysis of a Human Body Similarly, people often complain about headaches and backaches. Similar to what a mechanic does, one needs to use the right tool to evaluate and create a customised posture assessment therapy to meet every individual need, keeping the short and long term goals in mind.

  5. An Analogy of a Car versus the Posture Analysis of a Human Body After discussing what the mechanic does to a vehicle or what one has to do to keep the body fit, none of us should take anything for granted. These things, whether it is our body or our cars, it has to be serviced or kept fit. People can’t end up falling sick or rather end up with all kinds of health issues. So, when it comes to keeping a tab on our posture, we will have to get a routine posture assessment. If in case any individual or person has any sort of doubts, they can turn to the experts at Ten-point or a professional fitness person.
