Hay Group Study Autumn 2010 of Business Leaders 87% kept eyes firmly on the customer 64% had planned in advance Cuts of more 5% and less than 20% had similar impact on morale And three cuts of 5% is seen as three times worse than one cut of 15% 71% felt staff morale suffered as result of cuts and uncertainty Change is here

  11. Most people don’t know about social care until it affects them. Social Care includes a wide range of services designed to help people to: Maintain their own independence and keep well Support people so they don’t need to rely on services long term Play a full part in society Protect them in vulnerable situations Manage complex relationships What is adult social care?

Over 1,500 people now have a Personal Budget From 4 Oct 10 all new eligible people will be supported by Self Directed Support and get a personal budget All existing eligible people will move onto a personal budget by April 2011 Policy for the Operation of Personal Budgets – the RAS Independent Brokerage Service Progress Being Made in Oxfordshire

Information and advice strategy – improved web site, Looking Local, Information Hub Investment in Prevention and Early Intervention - Reablement, Turnaround, Continence Community Building approach – framework and checklist Working with providers – impact on contracts Support with Confidence Progress Being Made in Oxfordshire
