  2. Major accomplishments • 6 new collections • Collection builders guidebook • 1st collection building workshop • Update of all collection polices • Metadata Workshop

  3. Most important tasks: MWG & IWP • Define all vocabs in all frameworks • Define cataloging best practices across all frameworks • Catalog and QA DPC collections (100 plus on QA; 2000 plus on catalog) • Help with vocab manager upgrade • Accession new collections • Update and link check existing collections

  4. Most important tasks: other initiatives • NSDL/WGBH pathways proposal for Teacher’s Domain - rich resources (funded) • NSDL services proposal for suggesting NSES standards for cataloging and mapping to state standards (funded) • WGBH proposal - compendium method to state standards (need to write proposal) • Implement results form Metadata Workshop

  5. Time sinks that are difficult to judge • Support quality of collections (need an item by item resource review and scrutiny of metadata) • Support technical and documentation issues for new collections (scope statements) • Collection updating & management: harvest-quality-link check; harvest-quality-link-check etc. • Preparation for and participation in the Quality Workshop • CA-Pilot Project (organizational, instructional, and scientific and future teaching box projects)
