Final Points • Construction employment is expected to reach pre-recession levels in 2021. • Construction jobs are concentrated in certain areas of the state and have been impacted by oil development in Eastern Montana • Construction jobs are shifting towards heavy equipment operators and truck drivers, not just carpenters and general laborers.
