  2. Definition of Population & Age Distribution Population • The total number of persons inhabiting a country, city or any district or the body inhabitants of a place. Age Distribution • People born year by year as you can see the more population is the more next generation in the future for development countries. • Percentage of the total population or the population of each sex at each age level.

Definition of Developing & Developed Countries Developing • A developing Country is a nation with a low living standard Eg; Malaysia Developed • A developed is a sovereign state that has a highly developed economy and advanced technological infrastructure relative to other less developed nations Eg; Singapore

  4. Effect Of An Ageing Population • Effects if an ageing population it may cause threat to society. for example is older people depend on the younger ones this means that there will be more people claiming benefits such as state pensions and less people working, medical costs and paying income taxes. The burden on the young, economically and socially, will rise accordingly.
