  9. Boeing Informational • Where: Heffner Alumni House Conference Center • When: September 26th at 6pm • What: Dr. Wanda Denson-Low will hold an information session on behalf of the Boeing company • RSVP by tonight!

  13. National Conference: OneSHPE • Register On One SHPE (www.SHPE.org) • Pay for Regular Membership • Apply for a OneSHPE Account • If chosen for national Conference This will be necessary either way.

  24. Power Verbs (Action Verbs!) • Achieved • Cooperated • Communicated • Compiled • Designed • Developed • Facilitated • Organized • Spearheaded • Strengthened • These are highly effective words that imply action • You did something important!

  25. Power Verbs at Work • Our example, Betty: • A member of her High School Chorus for 4 years • With power verbs: • Coordinated recitals and spearheaded first-annual fundraising event as President of High School Chorus

  26. Apply Power Verbs • Extract skills gained from experience • Rephrase the accomplishments you identified
