The Treehouse Toy Store, a small independent shop in Buffalo, NY, is transitioning from a paper-based scheduling system to a streamlined computer database. Led by Gaetana, who manages employee scheduling, the current approach often leads to conflicts and lost time-off requests. The new database will facilitate better management for both Gaetana and employees. It will allow employees to update their information, make time-off requests, while Gaetana can easily schedule shifts and generate reports, ultimately improving workflow and reducing errors.
