Piedmont • We live here in the Piedmont. • There are a lot of rolling hills. • The animals are opposums, geese, squirrels.
Swamp • A swamp is an area where the land is always wet. • The animals are alligators, blue heron, and mosquitos.
Mountains • The mountains have the highest elevation • The lowest amount of people live here • Some of animals are copperhead snakes, mountain lions , and raccoons.
Coastal Plains • The land is flat and the soil is really sandy. • Not many hills and lot of water. • Some animals are deer, armadillos, rattlesnakes.
Ocean • There are 6 barrier islands off the coast of Georgia. • The Atlantic Ocean near Georgia is warmer than most oceans in the world. • Some animals are Right whales, sea turtles, and manatees.
