  2. ADTI • Many things we know about conducting research with older adults have been reaffirmed • Explanations must be clear and provided in a manner that people find understandable • Caregivers often appreciate talking to someone about their situation • Some areas have been challenging

  3. ADTI • Overall, positive effects of ChEI medications are suggested through our results • Consistent with previous research • Small effects, but clinical relevant • Reflect “real” life utilization of these medications

  4. Collection of Unique Data • Information about trends in utilization are emerging • Use of novel measures that capture dimensions of benefit not tapped in conventional measures • Treatment outcomes beyond clinical trial duration

  5. Future Directions and Opportunities • ADTI program provides an opportunity to utilize what we have learned and how that may be translated into future coverage policy
