  1. The spiritual power of the mustard seed Matthew 13:31-32

  2. Mustard Seed • Smallest of all seeds known at that time • It is a round seed

  3. Mustard Seed • Produces a huge bush/tree • Not planted by farmers – mustard was believed to bring on insanity

  4. For us Today • Smallest seed – humor? • How can the Kingdom of Heaven be small? • Few people live in the presence of God • To many people God is an afterthought • Therefore, God is “small” to them

  5. Fast Growing Plant • Once planted it grows fast • Africa and Asia today

  6. We must plant the seeds • The world, in general, does not want God • Jesus wants us to plant the seeds – evangelism

  7. Cannot be divided • We must work together for God • Church - Jesus will not return until the church is unified • Personal - Dedicate your life to alone
