  2. ABOUT THE CLIENT The client is a Europe-based company specializing in smart parking solutions. Their core product is a smart parking app that monitors real-time parking space availability using overhead sensors. Key features of the application developed by the client are- - Driven by overhead sensors for accurate data collection - Performs intelligent analysis of parking spaces for efficient utilization - Facilitates real-time data processing so the parking availability updates can be shared with the user in real-time - Uses GPS technology to guide users to the nearest available parking space

CLIENT’S GOALS & EXPECTATIONS FROM OUR TEAM Goals The client envisioned a revolutionizing smart parking solution- a mobile application that could identify the nearest available parking spots, check availability, and optimize parking efficiency for a driver. After they successfully built a functional application, they faced the challenge of further training that parking system to operate independently and more efficiently. Expectations From the SunTec India Team They needed a large volume of accurately labeled training data, so they chose our image annotation services. They also needed real-time data annotation support, so that the photos coming from the sensors could be analyzed quickly.

PROJECT CHALLENGES Diverse image dimensions: Managing variations in sensor images and map images. 3D view mismatch: Aligning the software's 3D depiction of motor vehicles with the actual parking area Sensor installation discrepancies: Correcting the improper sensor height installations that would image disparities in the received data. Overlapping image frames: Addressing issues arising from the overlapping of frames of different motor vehicles.

  5. OUR SOLUTIONS SunTec India addressed the challenges with real-time image labeling services, primarily using the bounding box technique. 1. Project team formation We established a dedicated team of 38 skilled image annotators The team operated in three shifts so as to ensure real-time data annotation 2. Cleaning and sorting image dataset The client continuously uploaded live image feeds to their data annotation tool. We closely monitored, analyzed, and filtered out irrelevant, blurred, and low-quality images.

  6. OUR SOLUTIONS 3. Real-time image labeling/annotation We implemented the bounding box technique for image annotation and labeled empty and occupied parking spots at a speed of 600 frames per hour (FPH). We also labeled other images with additional elements, like vehicles, parking lines, people, obstacles, trees, signs, etc., to provide a more holistic and consolidated training dataset.

FINAL PROJECT OUTCOMES High-end ML model developed: A powerful training dataset enabling the algorithm to independently detect parking spaces, vehicle types, and occupancy status with exceptional accuracy.
