  4. LOG IN TO NAVIANCE, CHECK EMAIL STUDENT ID# STUDENT ID # After logging in, click on ABOUT ME, MY ACCOUNT & check your info!

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS LHS Graduation Requirements 4  English 3  Math 3  Science 1  US History .5  US Government 1.5  Social Science 1  PE (.5 Healthy Choices, .5 PE) 2  Fine & Practical Arts 7  Electives 23  total * Students must also meet College and Career Competency Requirements Requirements for 4-year Colleges 4  English 4  Math (Math I & higher) 3  Science (2 labs) 1  US History 2  Social Science 1  World Language(more competitive schools require more, 2-3) 2  Academic Electives(Math, Science, English, Social Science, W. Lang.) 17  total

  8. ADAMS 12 FIVE STAR SCHOOLS What is Course Planner? • Course Planner is a tool to help you make your 4 year high school plan. Why use Naviance? • Naviance is web accessible and allows you to share your plan with both your counselor and your parents. How will this help me? • ICAP stands for Individual Career and Academic Plan. It is designed to help support your progress through high school and through your post secondary education.

  9. CREATE YOUR 4 YEAR PLAN Go to “Courses” then “Plan Coursework” Here Then Here

  10. CREATE YOUR 4 YEAR PLAN Go to “Manage My Course Plans”

  11. CREATE YOUR 4 YEAR PLAN If you’ve never done this before, click the + to add a new plan

  12. CREATE YOUR 4 YEAR PLAN Click on Create a Plan from Scratch Then click Continue

  13. CREATE YOUR 4 YEAR PLAN Yeah! Click Here

  14. CREATE YOUR 4 YEAR PLAN If you’ve done this before, you should already have a plan that you can edit CLICK HERE!

  15. CREATE YOUR 4 YEAR PLAN Let’s get started! Start by clicking on English and adding the courses you plan to take. Also include the classes you have taken and those that you are currently taking.

  16. CREATE YOUR 4 YEAR PLAN After you have selected the courses, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “SAVE” As you add courses, you will be asked when you want them in your schedule. Use the pull down to indicate the year in which you plan to take the course.

  17. CREATE YOUR 4 YEAR PLAN Continue by clicking on each subject area and creating your 4 year high school course plan.

  18. CREATE YOUR 4 YEAR PLAN Classes will be displayed under the requirement.

  19. CREATE YOUR 4 YEAR PLAN Check your progress and fill in any gaps. PE WILL NOT BE CORRECT!!

  20. CREATE YOUR 4 YEAR PLAN Make sure you view by requirement and by grade level Check This! Toggle here to view by grade

  21. ADAMS 12 FIVE STAR SCHOOLS You can edit your plan at any time. You can share your plan with your parents and your counselor. This is your platform to make sure you take the classes that are the right fit for you.

CHECK YOUR TASKS • This is where you go to make sure you don’t have any remaining tasks that are incomplete which will cause you to get called down to the counseling office during lunch in the future. • CLICK ON MY PLANNER • CLICK ON TASKS, THEN TASKS ASSIGNED TO ME • LOOK UNDER TASKS YOU NEED TO WORK ON • IT SHOULD BE EMPTY…IF NOT, CLICK ON THE ONES THAT REMAIN AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS • ONCE IT IS EMPTY, SHOW YOUR COUNSELOR!
