Historical Ethnographer
Wade Davis, born on December 14, 1953, in West Vancouver, BC, is a renowned ethnographer, author, and photographer. He earned his Ph.D. in ethnobotany from Harvard University and has conducted extensive ethnographies of indigenous societies across the globe, including the Amazon Basin, Borneo, and the Arctic. Married to anthropologist Gail Percy and a father of two, Davis is a prominent voice for cultural and biological diversity.
