The Catastrophic Leave Program is robust thanks to prior years' donations. Eligible participants who donated last year can enjoy a one-time benefit without additional annual leave deductions. Those who did not donate have the option to opt out of automatic enrollment and deductions; if they fail to do so within the opt-out period (May 2 - May 11), deductions will begin on May 20. Additionally, communications will be sent to eligible staff. For questions, please contact Magdalena Vigil-Tullar at 277-4993 or msvigil@unm.edu.
