EU-OPS Update • EU-OPS amendment 1 • Commission Regulation (EC) No 8/2008 of 11 December 2007, amending Council Regulation (EEC) No 3922/91 was published in the Official Journal on the 12th January 2008 • EU-OPS amendment 2 • ASC adopted EU-OPS amendment 2 (JAR-OPS 1 amdt 13 +7 NPA +ELT) during last ASC in December07. The EC inter service consultation also finished. After translations are made, it will be sent to EP. • Amended regulation only Publish in July08 • NAA and Operators will have a consolidate version sent by EC sometime in March CNS/ATM SG Meeting Gatwick

EASA Extension of Scopes • Extension of scope already adopted by EP last December07, has been already adopted by European Council • Waiting for publication in the JO. • Once it is officially published, EASA will start issuing NPA. • 1 NPA each month. (e.g. FCL in March, MS in April, AR in May, OPS in June, 3rd country a/c in July and OSC in August) CNS/ATM SG Meeting Gatwick
