What is Macon Early College ? • A different High School in Macon County. • On the Southwestern Community College Campus in Macon County. • Begins in the 9th grade. • Earn a High School Diploma and up to Two Years of College Credit in five years.
SCC Macon Campus • Opened in August 2007 • State of the Art facility with 27,000 sq. ft. • A second building was added in 2009
Oscar J. Ledford Building 2009 Houses the high school component of the Early College. The administrative offices and teacher offices are located here along with the high school classrooms.
