Trainer mentors will be • shown how to use and improve their existing skills to create exciting learning • experiences. • To engage learners in a new range of learning experiences • To adapt resources to specific needs and create new versions • To fit interactivity into existing resources Module 6 - Using Office Applications in Teaching and Learning

  2. Module Overview • The face-to-face element of the module introduces a group of core • competencies. Self-study and action learning will enable learners to extend, • develop and apply these skills within their own context. • Additional requirements: • Resources such as existing handouts and electronic pictures or clip art to use for adapting • Handouts 1–5 should be printed out prior to the teaching session. Learning Outcomes • By the end of this module participants will be able to: • produce interactive teaching and learning materials using Office software • adapt resources to specific needs and create new versions • identify ways of using interactive resources in their own • teaching and learning environment • describe some accessibility issues for the resources • produced • use an interactive teaching resource with a group of learners.
