We are a team of geological oceanographers employing advanced geophysical and geological tools to capture images of the seafloor and its subsurface. Our work involves studying sedimentary processes and geological frameworks, such as karstified Eocene limestone and marsh hammocks. Historically, we faced challenges with navigation and data processing, which limited our mapping capabilities. Today, we use precise navigation and digital techniques to produce high-quality bathymetric and benthic habitat maps, contributing significantly to ecosystem management and fundamental ecological inquiries.
