  14. II. Engine Part

  15. S11+472 has the same engine parts as those of S11+372 in all the aspects except exhaust system, cooling pipeline, and EFI system.

  16. 1. Exhaust System · In order to meet more stringent emission requirements, S11+472 is equipped with secondary catalytic system and secondary oxygen sensor to the exhaust pipe on the basis of S11+372.

Fix the cooling water pipe assembly ① to the engine by tightening the two Q33008 nuts to 25±3Nm. 2. Use AQ60132 and AQ60136 clamps to connect both ends of the water inlet pipe III ② respectively to the engine's water pump inlet and one end of the cooling water pipe assembly ①. 3. Use an AQ60126 clamp to connect the expansion tank's outlet pipe ③ to the right short branch pipe of the cooling water pipe assembly ①. 4. Use an AQ60124 clamp to connect the air warmer's water outlet pipe ④ to the left short branch pipe of the cooling water pipe assembly ①. 5. Use an AQ60124 clamp to connect the air warmer's water inlet pipe ⑤ to the small water outlet of the engine.

Use an AQ60136 clamp to connect the water pipe ⑦ to the thermostat's water outlet. 2. Fix the water inlet pipe fixing bracket ⑨ to the clutch housing by tightening the Q1840820 bolts to the torque of 25±3Nm. 3. Use an AQ60136 clamp to connect one end of the water inlet pipe II ⑧ to the cooling water pipe ①; then use an AQ60136 clamp to connect the other end of the water inlet pipe II ⑧ to the upper end of the water inlet pipe fixing bracket ⑨. 4. Use an AQ60136 clamp to connect one end of the water inlet pipe I ⑩ to the lower end of the water inlet pipe fixing bracket ⑨.

In the aspect of EFI system, S11+472 engine has the following modifications on the basis of S11+372 engine:① Added with one rear oxygen sensor and one secondary catalytic converter to meet higher emission requirements.② Added with one fuel injection nozzle.③ Added with one spark plug.④ Added with the shielding function for primary control circuit of ignition coil.⑤ Engine ECU pin definitions are somewhat modified.

Transmission Part Compared with S11+372, S11+472 only has two alterations in the aspect of transmission: the transmission suspension bracket is connected with the upper transmission and the master drive ratio is 4.111 (whereas the master drive ratio of S11+372 is 4.412). For repair of S11+472 transmission, refer to S11+372 transmission repair information.

  26. IV. Electrical System

  27. Compared with S11+372, S11+472 has the same parts except air-conditioning piping and EFI system in the aspect of electrical system. Refer to Repair Manual for S11 Electric Systempreviously issued by our department.

  31. V. Chassis Part

  32. S11+472 has the same chassis repair parameters as those of S11+372 in all the aspects except the changes of following parts: engine suspension, clutch cable, and power steering pipeline. Refer to Repair Manual forS11 Chassis Part previously issued by our department.

  33. 1. Left Suspension ·1. Connect the left suspension support 1 with the left suspension cushion assembly by tightening the Q184B1465 bolt to the torque of 60±5Nm. · 2. Connect the left suspension with the body by tightening the three Q184C1025 bolts to 45±5Nm. · 3. Connect the left suspension support 2 with transmission housing by tightening the four Q184C1040 bolts to the torque of 45±5Nm. · 4. Connect the left suspension support 2 with left suspension support 1 by tightening two Q320C10 bolts to the torque of 45±5Nm.

  34. 2. Right Suspension · 1. Connect the front transition bracket with the engine. Tighten the four Q1841055 bolts to the torque of 40±4Nm to connect power steering pump support and front transition bracket to the engine. · 2. Connect the rear transition bracket with the engine by tightening the two Q1841055 bolts and one Q1841040 bolt to the torque of 40±4Nm. · 3. Connect the right suspension support with the right suspension cushion assembly by tightening the Q184B1465 bolt to the torque of 60±5Nm. · 4. Connect the right suspension with the body by tightening the three Q184C1025 bolts to the torque of 45±5Nm. · 5. Connect front transition bracket, rear transition bracket, and left suspension support. The front joint bracket is provided with welding bolts that Q320C10 nuts suit, which shall be tightened to the torque of 45±5Nm.

  35. 3. Front Suspension · 1. Fix the front suspension support to the front cross member by tightening the two Q184C1025 bolts and one Q1840825 bolt respectively to the torques of 40±4Nm and 25±3Nm. · 2. Fix the front suspension cushion assembly to the engine by tightening the four Q1841020 bolts to the torque of 45±5Nm. · 3. Connect the front suspension cushion assembly to the front suspension support by tightening the Q184B1290 bolt and Q330B12 nut to the torque of 75±5Nm.

  36. 4. Rear Suspension · 1. Connect the rear suspension cushion assembly to the body by tightening the Q184B1085 bolt to the torque of 75±5Nm when it connects with the upper power assembly support after pretightening it. · 2. Connect the rear suspension support to the engine through tightening the Q1841020 bolts by the torque of 45±5Nm. · 3. Connect the rear suspension support with the rear suspension cushion assembly by tightening Q184B12100 bolt to the torque of 75±5Nm.

  37. 5. Clutch Cable Support · Clutch cable is fixed onto the fixing support under the transmission.

  38. The support shall be mounted right close to the white mark, which is 38~42mm away from the left bend. Concretely, it may perform fine adjustment according to the circumstances. Support position is as shown in the figure (Φ7 threaded hole) and the support is connected through the weld bolt welded to the left front longitudinal beam. An Q33006 nut shall be used and tightened to the torque of 9±1Nm. M16X1.5-6H: the end shall be connected to the high-pressure oil pipe I by using one wrench to hold this end and another wrench to tighten the gland nut on the high-pressure oil pip I to the torque of 45±3Nm. M18X1.5-6H: the end is connected to the steering gear oil outlet by the torque of 30±3Nm. Vehicle forward direction Front View of S11-3406120BA 6. Power Steering System (High-pressure Oil Pipe II) · Only two lines including oil return pipe assembly and high-pressure oil pipe II among the steering lines are covered in technical adjustment descriptions because all the other pipes including high-pressure oil pipe I and oil suction hose are the same as those in S11+372.

  39. M16X1.5-6H is connected with the high-pressure pipe II to the torque of 45±3Nm. Connected to the steering pump by the torque of 30±3Nm. Support position is as shown in the figure, and the support is connected with the weld bolt welded to the front cross beam by tightening one Q33006 nut (Φ7 threaded hole) to the torque of 9±1Nm. Support position is as shown in the figure, and the support is connected with the weld bolt welded to the front cross beam by tightening one Q33006 nut (Φ7 threaded hole) to the torque of 9±1Nm.   40. 8. Power Steering Pump S11-3406115 with one M16X1.5 threaded hole, the tightening torque is 30±3Nm. · Remarks: only one pressure switch is added onto the steering oil pump on the basis of S11+372 steering oil pump, and thus, they have the same shape dimensions and installation method.

  41. VI. Body Accessories & Body Size S11+472 and S11+372 have identical body accessories and body size. Refer to Repair Manual for S11 Body Size previously issued by our department.
