Sporty Cafeteria Design Inspired by Southern Utah University Athletes

The design concept for the cafeteria area aims to create a vibrant, sporty atmosphere reflective of a fun college environment. By incorporating Southern Utah University (SUU) jerseys and sports memorabilia along with pictures of actual SUU athletes, the space will celebrate school spirit. While creativity guided the selection of certain elements, the intention is for all decor to align with SUU themes. The dining area is designed to offer a more formal setting while maintaining a lively vibe. A chocolate brown color scheme enhances the overall sporty aesthetic, creating a welcoming space for sports enthusiasts.

  10. Miscellaneous I wanted the overall feeling of the cafeteria area to be sporty, like a fun college environment. My idea was that the jerseys and sports memorabilia would be SUU and that the people in the pictures would be actual SUU athletes. I couldn’t find SUU everything so I used my imagination but I would hope to that if I really did design this area everything would correlate with SUU. I made the dining area a little more formal so it would be a place to settle down at. I like the chocolate brown color on the walls and would put it on them all. I love sports so that was what was pulling me towards decorating that way.
