Overview of NPP Program in Vietnam NPP Master Plan and 1st NPP Project • Development direction of NPPs: • 2020: 1st Unit with capacity of 1,000 MW would be operated • 2025: NPPs total capacity of 8,000 MW (7% total capacity) • 2030: NPPs total capacity of 15,000 MW (10% total capacity) • 2030: 14 Units operating with Total Capacity of 15,000-16,000 MW in 8 Plants • All NPPs will be located in Central Provinces: Ninh Thuan, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Ha Tinh and Quang Ngai.
