  3. Background • Practical work period 20 days for each group in Internal Medicine Ward • Current assessment tools for clinical learning are as follows: • Written exam • Oral exam include physical examination

  5. Objectives • Standardized assessment of: • Medical interview • Physical examination • Record writing and other procedures

  6. Methods • Starting time: April 2007 at the end of each practical period for internal medicine • Number of students: 15 4th-class students • Number of examiners: two examiners include one timekeeper • Number of stations: 2 stations • Prepare rating sheet

  7. Time: 20 minutes • Station 1: Medical interview, Chest and vital sign • Station 2: Abdomen, Head and neck
