  2. SAN DOMENICO, E’ NATO A CALAROGA NEL 1170, ED E’ MORTO A BOLOGNA IL 6 AGOSTO 1221.

  3. All’ età di 24 anni entra a far parte dei canonici regolari della cattedrale di Osma.

  4. Nel 1212 San Domenico, durante la sua permanenza a Tolosa, dal racconto del beato Alano della rupe, ebbe una visione della Vergine Maria e la consegna del rosario.

  5. Nel 1215 diventò anche lui un predicatore

  6. Fondò ufficialmente l’ordine Domenicano solo nel 1217 quando papa Onorio III acconsentì il loro modo di vivere.
