Join Us for the 2011 Christmas Volunteer Campaign: Make a Difference This Holiday Season!

Be a part of the 2011 Christmas Volunteer Campaign! We are seeking dedicated volunteers to assist with various events, including registration, distribution, and the Kettle Campaign. Our activities will take place from November 8-11 for registration and orientation, with distribution from December 5-16 at the SC State Fairgrounds. Help us sort food and gifts, assemble gift bags, and assist clients during gift pickups. Volunteers must be 16+ years old. Reach out today to contribute joy to the holiday season!   4. Registration Week • Nov 8 – 11 • SC State Fairgrounds • Assist at Christmas warehouse • Meet with applicants • Review applications • Must be 18 or older • Mandatory orientation session

  5. Distribution Set-up • Dec 5 – 10 • SC State Fairgrounds • Assist at Christmas warehouse • Move tables, chairs, etc. • Sort food and gifts • Assemble gift bags • Must be 16 or older

  6. Distribution Week • Dec 12 – 16 • SC State Fairgrounds • Assist clients as they pick up their gifts at the Christmas warehouse

  7. Kettle Campaign Volunteer Recruitment • Target groups to adopt kettle for a full day 10am – 8pm • Need contact person for reservations and staffing internally • Complete form and return to staff

  9. Kettle Campaign Digital Kettle • Target individuals to host an online Red Kettle • Partnering with young professional groups • Facebook contest to give away iPad to whoever raises the most $

  12. Angel Tree • Adopt a child for Christmas • Collect toys & food for those in need

  13. Bear Dressing • Adopt a bear to dress for Christmas • Dressed bears are distributed to the needy

  14. Stocking Stuffing • Great for school or youth groups • Stocking stuffer suggestions available online • Oct pick-up > Fill > Dec drop-off
