Resolution • The number of maximum or native vertical and horizontal pixels in flat-panel monitors Common resolutions are: 1280 x 720 for a 15” monitor 1440 x 900 for a 17” monitor 1680 x 1050 for a 19” monitor 1920 x 1080 for 24&25” monitors 1920 x 1200 for 26” monitors Note the 1366 X 768 for the advertised 18.5” monitor

  6. Response Time • The speed that the monitor can respond to moving objects, like in sports. The lower the better. Most are 2 ms or better.

  7. Contrast Ratio • Comparison of the monitor’s darkest black to its brightest white. Here, the highest is best (for seeing all wrinkles in detail!) Don’t buy below 500:1 Typical ratios are 10000:1 and up Note that our advertised is 50000:1

  8. 16:9 Format, VGA & DVI-D connectors • 16:9 is wide format (HD compatible) • Some computers use DVI-D connectors Most use VGA As for the 300 nits, any ideas?
