Deciding on PhD Research Topic

In a recent discussion with Dr. Salamo, I focused on identifying my PhD research topic. With no particular preference from Dr. Salamo, I explored the potential of oxides versus arsenides, acknowledging my strong motivation for device applications. My experience with arsenide devices and noise was highlighted, contrasted with my lack of engagement with oxides. I recognized the need to dedicate more time to specific projects and schoolwork after relief from GK-12 duties. Moving forward, I aim to work on oxide projects to assess their viability, while committing to consistent communication and professional development.
