  2. Photos of last year’s activities for parent night or open house set it to loop and watch the parents enjoy! A slide for each piece in an in-room concert. Students can design and also have responsibility to click. Steps for cleaning an instrument take digital photos of student & instrument. Can put online. *

  3. Listening guide for a piece - fine arts or general music class elements of music Introduction to a concert piece - composer biography, cultural context, contemporaries Lyrics to songs for context study or for sing-alongs Intro to a style or period, pop band, singer, instrument, etc.

EXAMPLES: Music cued within the show Form and instrument identification “Indiana Jones Main Theme” by John Williams Click on QuickTime icon to play Mov- History of piece and form “Radetzky March” by Johann Strauss I Music cued within the show Latin text with translation “Lacrymosa” by W.   7. Save As: What are the options? PPT = PowerPoint presentation PPS = PowerPoint Package. Creates folder for PPT and saves connected files in the folder. HTM = Webpage - be sure any sound files are in the same folder before you link them. Then upload to the same folder on the server. MOV = Must record timing. Embed in webpages Or e-mail. Export > Quicktime Movie to reduce file size. Note ipod option in QT pro :-)

  8. How to add music to a PowerPoint From a CD is the most reliable. Complete your Show. Insert > Movies & Sounds > Sound from file… Choose whether to play automatically or not. To get it to play past the current slide - Slide show > Custom Animation > Effect options > Media options
