National Contact Point System of LatviaStarting 6th Framework Programe Information Canpaign Year 2002 • 4 infodays and various other consulting activities already during the year 2002; • Participation in various DG RESEARCH NCPs training events • including launching conferences in Brussels and in Warsaw; • National launching conference - December 6, 2002; January Year 2003 • 16 lectures and consultations in small groups during the visits to various research institutions; • Numerous individual consultations and e-mail advertisements;; • Assistance in partner search activities; • 5 workshops and infodays in the NCP central office and at the institutes • Regular remindings about ERA and FP6 in monthly NCPs information letter “VĒSTIS” and on NCPs WEB page; • Institutes – centres of excelence organize their own workshops about strategy towards FP6 and ERA; • February 25, 2003, Plenary Annual conference of University of Latvia targeted towards strategy of Latvia in ERA and FP6.
