Schizophrenia is a complex genetic disorder linked to chemical imbalances in the brain, often inherited within families. It affects individuals in urban settings or those with traumatic pasts. Symptoms include unusual thinking, hallucinations, lack of sleep, and apathy. Although females are statistically more prone to developing schizophrenia, it affects both genders. There is currently no definitive cure or treatment to eliminate the disorder; however, medications may help manage symptoms. Awareness and understanding are key in addressing this serious condition.
