Over two days in Melbourne, we interviewed 11 buskers and surveyed 124 listeners to test our hypothesis that crowds are generally satisfied with the entertainment and professionalism of buskers. Our aim was to delve into the city's musical interests and understanding of busking. We asked participants about their age group, music genre preferences, and rated the buskers on their entertainment value and professionalism. Our findings provide insights into the impact of buskers on the community and the perceptions of their performances.
