  2. What's Easter got to do with Christians? Easter is the most important Christian festival, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day after his crucifixion.

  3. Starter • What do we already know? The crucifixion is....... The resurrection is....... The resurrection is important to Christians because.... The resurrection shows Christians that there is a.......

  4. Case Notes- what do we already know? • On Good Friday, Jesus Christ was executed by crucifixion. • His body was taken down from the cross, and buried in a cave. Make notes on your ‘case notes’ page so you have the facts before you investigate!!

  5. ....a huge stone was rolled across the doorway of Jesus’ tomb. That thing must’ve weighed about two tonnes! That makes it impossible for someone to have moved it on their own.
