The Computerized Placement Test (CPT) is designed to assess your skills for class placement, focusing on reading, writing, and math. Minimum cut-off scores are 83 for reading and writing. The test consists of three sub-tests: Reading (20 questions), Writing (20 questions on grammar), and Math (arithmetic and algebra). To take the test, bring a valid photo ID, your M-DC student number or current schedule, and written permission from your advisor if applicable. Prepare with knowledge in arts, social sciences, and natural sciences.
