How is the MBA Business? • Findings from 2009 Data • One-year full-time MBA programs reported the strongest application volume. • Application volume growth in 2009 was primarily driven by programs located in world regions outside of the United States across all MBA program types. • Master of Accounting programs stood out among program types with the largest proportion (78%) reporting an increase in application volume. • Change in application volume – FT 1 Year, Flexible, FT 2 year, Part-time and Executive MBA in order.   12. Areas that HBS is attempting to focuses on! Get the global content right so that graduates can work for a company that is operating in multiple geographies. A focus on leadership and corporate accountability that aims to give an analytical framework for thinking about tough, contemporary business issues by combining economic, legal, and ethics Deans and recruiters felt that MBAs in general need more soft skills, such as self-awareness and the capacity for introspection and empathy.
