Relax in Comfort The ambience and traditional warmth of The Fieldhead are particularly evident - the comfortable lounge furnished with quality sofas and wing back chairs, while the use of table lamps and picture lights give the room a warm glow and provide a perfect place to relax at any time. The centrepiece must be the huge bay window, an original feature of the house giving a quite remarkable vista across Looe Bay to Looe Island. Just off the lounge is the cocktail bar, well equipped and comfortable, serving a full range of beverages and with doors opening onto the balcony and gardens.

GARDENS & SWIMMING POOL Heated and open from mid May to the end of September; the Fieldhead's large, newly renovated swimming pool is set in the cliff above the garden and is a veritable sun trap with more wonderful sea views. The Fieldhead is set in 1½ acres of gardens and terraces which provide a most attractive setting for reading, relaxing or watching the activity at sea. Constantly changing and improving, the award winning garden contains many new plants including palms, agaves, phormiums and tree ferns.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION Bedrooms Virtually all bedrooms have wonderful sea views - the perfect way to start and end the day gazing over the ever-changing view, colours, weathers and shipping including the Royal Navy on regular maneuvers and the Looe Fishing Fleet leaving and returning to port. All bedrooms are en-suite with bath and shower; and all have recently been refurbished. From 2012, we have changed our room categories to Balcony and Non-Balcony as that more than adequately defines our rooms. All our balcony rooms are all fully ensuite with bath and shower, table and chairs, bath robes and slippers. All but two offer substantial balconies with sun-loungers. Many have zip-link beds for twin or double occupancy otherwise they are double beds. One of these particularly large rooms is on the ground floor having its own terrace and easy access to the outside. Our non-balcony rooms are all fully ensuite with bath and shower with choices of double and twin rooms and double and twin family rooms.
